Welcome

The Center for Rapid Recovery (CRR) also known as the Training and Research Institute for Cultural Competence (TRICC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) faith-based and minority-focused behavioral healthcare organization established in 1992 to serve predominantly racially and linguistically diverse residents of Long Island. CRR is located in the Village of Hempstead within the 18th Assembly District of Nassau County and viewed as a beacon of hope for communities of Colour that suffer from poorer access to healthcare and outcomes than the rest of Long Island, New York. CRR is dedicated to eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in health and offering culturally competent care for people with or at risk for intellectual developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, HIV/AIDS, mental health-related issues, and the families of such persons.
